During her professional experience as a researcher, first at the University of Zagreb and later at ECMI in Kosovo, she specialized in migration issues, social inclusion of marginalized groups and minorities, and co-participation strategies. She earned a MA in Interdisciplinary Research and Studies on Eastern Europe, focusing on the integration process of the Western Balkan countries in the EU. Her current work focuses on the analysis of scientific production and critic’s work of design cultures. Lorela Mehmeti is a PhD candidate in Architecture and Design Cultures at the University of Bologna. His work is widely published in several specialised magazines and publications and has been recognised with awards such as the COACV Prize for the “Bullit Cyclery” project, the COACV Prize for “Casa en Bétera”, selected at the FAD awards and finalist at the XV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism. Currently, he is working on his PhD thesis at the Architecture Project Department in Valencia, where he obtained an architectural fellowship and completed the research work at the Bauhaus Archive in Berlin. Research in the fields of architecture and design complete his education as an architect. His professional experience has also been developed within many national and international studios with a continuous participation in multidisciplinary teams. He leads the architecture office Quadrat Estudio based in Valencia (Spain) and Mannheim (Germany) working on public and private projects, mainly in the sectors of housing, public facilities and interior design. Hugo Mompó Architect graduated from the School of Architecture of Valencia (ETSAV) with an Extraordinary Final Degree Award.
